Hot Water Blasters

PSL Blasters supplies Italian-built hot water blasters for commercial and industrial cleaning across New Zealand. Heated water breaks down grease, fat and oily residue that cold water leaves behind, so surfaces come clean faster and with less chemical.

Our range covers flow rates from 10 to 21 L/min at pressures up to 2900 PSI, with delivery temperatures adjustable to 100°C. All units use triplex piston pumps, stainless steel casings and 24V low-tension controls, with 230V and 400V power options depending on the model.

Full service, parts and technical support nationwide. Enquire for pricing and specification advice.

Why heated water changes the job

Pressure alone shifts dirt. Heat dissolves it. Anything carrying grease, animal fat, protein residue or oily film responds far better to hot water than to cold, and the difference is not marginal. Jobs that take an operator twenty minutes with a cold machine often take a fraction of that once the water is at temperature.

That has a knock-on effect on chemical use. Detergent works harder at temperature, so most operators find they use less of it while getting a better result. On sites where wastewater is monitored, that matters as much as the cleaning itself.

Every unit in our range has a thermostat so temperature can be set to suit the surface, from warm water for painted or sensitive finishes through to 100°C for heavy soiling. Selected models include a steam valve for the most stubborn build-up.

Choosing the right hot water blaster

Three things narrow the choice quickly.

Available power

The power supply at your site is usually the deciding constraint, and it is worth checking before anything else. Our smaller unit runs from a standard outlet, though a 15A supply may be required. Larger machines need 400V or 415V supply. If you are unsure what is available where the machine will be used, our team can talk you through it.

Flow rate and pressure

Flow rate determines how quickly you can cover an area, and it matters more than pressure for most cleaning work. Our range runs from 10 to 12 L/min for lighter duty use up to 21 L/min for continuous high-output work, with pressures from 1500 to 2900 PSI.

How often it will run

A machine used for an hour a week and one running most of a shift are different purchases. Heavier units in the range are built with vertical stainless wrap boilers, independent ventilation motors and larger fuel capacity for exactly this reason.

Where our industrial hot water blasters are used

The range covers a broad mix of operators, and the right specification varies with the work:

  • Commercial kitchens and food preparation areas
  • Engineering and automotive workshops
  • Dairy sheds and calf-rearing sheds
  • Food and beverage production
  • Manufacturing and processing plants
  • Workshop and warehouse floors

If your cleaning is mostly vehicle-based, our fleet wash systems are purpose-built for that work and may suit you better.

Build quality and support

Every commercial hot water blaster we supply is built in Italy with a triplex piston pump running at 1440 RPM, stainless steel casing and a painted steel chassis. Boilers are stainless wrapped. Electrical controls run at 24V for operator safety.

Installation requirements vary by model and by site, particularly around water supply. Some units in the range include a stainless water break tank. We will confirm what your site needs as part of the quoting process rather than leaving you to work it out after delivery.

All machines are backed by full service, parts and technical support nationwide.

Enquire about a hot water blaster and we will recommend a specification for your site and workload.
